rollin rollin rollin

I now have all my roller derby equipment except for skates. Everyone has been very wonderful, and I enjoy the rest of the girls. They have very interesting stories to tell I hope they like me. I have been trying to get to know them one at a time by talking to one a whole lot during a practice. I wonder if I am annoying? Well I guess time will tell.

We love the Wii

YES! I was one of those crazy people sitting in front of Wal-Mart Saturday. I waited 9 hours for my beloved husbands Christmas present. The next shipment wont be until Black Friday. I think every Wal-Mart might get about 5 of them. It is worth it to wait. We have had so much fun with this thing, and it's only the beginning. This is such a great toy. I think it will be even more fun when they turn on the online games in the spring. By then we will have finished Zelda. Even so the game that comes with it is sooooo much fun. You should get one. Then in the spring we can play together. -Jennifer

Rollergirls

As of last night I decided that I would officially become a River valley roller girl. The areas roller derby team. Yay, I think I can handle the job as long as my husband can help me out with the kids. It is great exercise and loads of fun. I will keep you all updated on the craziness of my life. -jennifer

Avon calling!

Yes! I have recently become an Avon representative. Jen,(my very best friend in the whole world hopped on this band wagon first) The Avon world has a multilevel marketing thing going on and the more people iI get to sell this stuff the better.  Really I will just  be happy to make a little money to put towards a whole house  water filtration system or a Hila  vacuum cleaner. Thoes two things are kinda on my wish list  both very healthy things to have. Well it's that time again. Time to wake my children from their afternoon slumber.   bye  now

Election day

Yesterday was a long but fun day, my children and I took the time to walk to our local poling place. They behaved quite well while I was voting at an eletronic voting station. that was a new experence. In the past it was a scantron. So I am proud of our city for making a small step to join the 21st century. The big race in Van Buren this year was for a new mayor, but much to my disappointment i never received  information on any candidate. Being all independents   I voted for the only Man I halfway knew. He is a police officer   In retrospect I  should have voted for one of the men

Waiting for the Wii

My husband and I have been waiting for over two years to play Niintendo's   Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess.  With great joy we will soon purchase the long awaited game as well as the Wii  as a Christmas present to each other. The Wii looks like it will be a real treat for families who like to game together. My husband is soo cute. He is very excited. I believe he will be standing in line at Wal-Mart  with eyes shining brightly waiting for the Wii to finally be available.  Have fun all you crazy shoppers.

Halloween

Another year of monsters and mischief has gone by. I hope you and yours had a wonderful time no matter how you choose to spend it. This was the first year that I have been trick -or- treating since I was a kid. The past 10 years I have always helped out in church events. I would have to say we had at least 125 kids come to our house last night (we handed out balloon animals) The street outside our house was filled with children while Xavior,Ransom and I roamed the neighborhood. Grandma and Aunt Audra and Sebastian were there too.  I was blessed to see several elderly couples handing candy out on their porches. It was soo cute! I dressed up as as Real mayer from Ergo Proxy. Needless to say I was not recognized again. I always pick costumes no one around here knows. Last year I was Sakura from Naruto, but cartoon Network had only been showing Naruto for about 3 weeks at the time. Maybe I should just be a clown I always end up with balloons on my head at some point. -Yes last year a ninja was standing in the cold handing balloons to kids anyway happy November everybody!

A great weekend

This weekend was just fabulous. First when we went to Wal-Mart I met a Japanese man who had only been in the country for 4 days. He asked if the food sample I was trying was  oishi (yummy)   I turned around and said "hai". He was equally suprized to be answered in his native toung. Anyway that was fun. Later that evening we went to a great party for a friend at church. It was wonderful to have an evening without the kids. There was sooo much good food and we played pictonary and cacthprase, before we left there was a drum circle and My husband and Aaron  got into a wrestling macth. We left at 10'o clock, but Havi  told us the next day that it lasted till 4am wow! After church on Sunday we had friends over. Anyway it was a great weekend.
